What is an Intimacy Coordinator and why use one?

Some of the ways an IC can support a production include:

ensures that all legal requirements and closed set protoccols necessary for filming intimate content are fully met.
collaborates with departments such as HMU & costume, to cover the needs of the scene in advance of filming.
contributes to a safe and open working environment where performers feel more comfortable and free to do their best work.
